An Intro
Chukh is a rich and distinctive traditional chilli sauce, dip & cooking paste from Chamba in Himachal Pradesh, a state in the north of India.
For generations the women in rural communities in Chamba Valley have perfected the art of creating a recipe of locally grown Chitrali Chillies with an extract from a local variety of citrus fruit, blending with Indian spices and cooking in Mustard oil. The resulting Chilli is incredible in taste and flavour with an extremely distinctive smokey, citrus spicy chilli taste.
All Chukh flavours are cooked multi flavoured chilli recipes complete in themselves. Sundried red chillies, a host of exotic Himalayan spices and local citrus extract are already cooked as per a special recipe of traditional Chamba Chukh. It is the complete package of exciting, zingy, tangy, sweet, HOT chilli that's ready to go with a wide range of foods and snacks, either as a dip or in cooking.
